Gardens
There are lots of gardens to visit in Wexford. Nearby Johnstown Castle gardens are spectacular and have several ornamental lakes, streams and follies throughout. The Memorial Garden, close by, in Kilmore Quay is poignantly dedicated to those who have lost their lives at sea. The gardens run beside the sea and feature statutes and a stone boat. Further afield you can visit Kilmokea Gardens, the spectacular John F. Kennedy arboretum – dedicated to the former US President whose family hails from there and Wells House and Gardens. Wexford Garden Trail gives full details of the main garden sites.
