Kilmore Cottage is an ideal holiday home for children. The cottages are styled in such a way as to be robust and easy to maintain self catering holiday homes. Spacious gardens, books, games, toys outdoors, an outside goal and even a boat on the lawn, make it easy to have fun while parents relax peacefully at home. The cottages are located on a working organic farm, and you can arrange to have a guided farm tour while you are here. John personally brings all the guests around his farm. You can call the cows, feed the donkeys and even collect eggs. A short walk away at Mary Barry’s restaurant & pub, you will find that children are welcomed with a children’s menu and a large garden at the back, where every summer there is a big bouncy castle for children to enjoy. Nearby Kilmore Quay has a lovely seaside playground and fantastic coastal walk. When you walk through the memorial gardens, there is a big stone ship to explore and many other surprises along the path. Add in the other amenities nearby – the cinema, apple farm, many beaches, lighthouse, bowling alley, indoor play zone, a maze and much, much more and you can see why Kilmore Cottage is a favourite holiday destination for many families.
